The magicolor 5450 is a high-end colour and mono Postscript printer with the ability to print from virtually any application and operating system. Due to its next-generation Emperon controller, Postscript 3 emulation and a G4 667Mhz processor it is able to zip through heavy duty print runs with ease. It has a 600-sheet capacity as standard, while for increased capacity you can add up to two 500-sheet feeders, or a duplex unit for two-sided and booklet printing.

Printing at 9600 x 600 dpi, Photo ART™ contone varies the colours of individual pixels to a much greater degree than usual, providing outstanding printing precision, enhanced picture detail and smooth colour graduations. eAIDC (enhanced automatic image density control) ensures unparalleled colour consistency, while Simitri polymerised toners take print quality levels even higher. Material such as booklets and brochures can all be printed thanks to the printer's ability to handle up to 210gm2 weight stock.
